What I Help With
Anxiety & Overwhelm
Life Transitions
Learn practical tools to respond to anxiety with greater flexibility, rather than feeling controlled by it.
Whether you're changing careers, moving, becoming a parent, ending a relationship, graduating, or adjusting to a new stage in life, therapy can help you navigate change with greater clarity and confidence.
Identity & Belonging
Living Between Worlds
Figuring out who you are and what you value beyond roles, expectations, and other people's definitions of success.
Support for immigrants, expats, international students, multicultural families, and anyone trying to build a sense of belonging while navigating multiple identities, cultures, and expectations.
Grief & Loss
Parenting & Family Dynamics
Honoring all forms of grief, including the death of a loved one, relationship endings, migration grief, and the quiet loss of past versions of yourself.
Moving beyond survival mode to build practical emotional regulation skills, manage parental burnout, and navigate the unique layers of raising children across differing cultures, values, and expectations.
Relationships
Teen Mental Health (Ages 13+)
Strengthen communication, prepare for marriage, navigate conflict, or reconnect with the people who matter most.
A secure space for teens navigating anxiety, school stress, peer pressure, complex family dynamics, body image, self-esteem, and identity exploration.
Why Work With Me?
✽ Warm & Non-Judgemental
I have been told that I am easy to talk to and you don’t have to perform or pretend to have it all together in our sessions. I do my best to create a safe place to vent, drop the weight, and figure things out at your own pace.
✽ Trained & Qualified
I hold a Master of Counselling Psychology, Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) certification, and Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) certification. I also teach undergraduate psychology at Arkansas State University, Queretaro and Texas State University, Querétaro campus, helping prepare the next generation of mental health professionals while staying connected to current research and best practices.
✽ Collaborative
Our sessions are a collaborative space where nothing is too small or too random to bring in. You choose what you need support with in your session—whether that's showing me the texts you’re trying to decode, explaining a TikTok that hit too close to home, or just talking about the messy day-to-day stuff. Rather than telling you what to do, we'll work together to understand what's happening and how to move towards a life that feels more aligned with your values. We don't have to rigidly stick to the big reason that brought you to therapy (though we’ll definitely check in on it periodically).
✽ A Global Perspective
Having lived in India, Kenya, the United States, Canada, and now Mexico, I understand what it can feel like to begin again, adapt to unfamiliar places, and build a sense of home across different cultures. While every person's journey is unique, these experiences have shaped how I think about identity, belonging, resilience, and change.
